Having cruised since 1958, we have just returned from what we feel is the best we have ever had - on Seven Seas Navigator, from Fort Lauderdale to Mexico(two ports),Belize, Guatemala and Key West. Unfortunately two other ports had to be omitted due to an engine problem but we were most handsomely rewarded for that and no one had any complaint. This is an all suite ship and the accomodation even in a modest grade, was excellent and could not be faulted - even by me, a noted 'moaner' about most ships! Only 480 passengers on a 28,000 ton vessel made for space everywhere. Queues were none existent at any time; food was excellent in all restaurants and service impeccable. This was an ' all-inclusive' cruise; suites were stocked with free drinks and regularly topped up; likewise fruit and flowers; all wines and other drinks at meals and everywhere else, were free and freely dispensed. Check in at FL was a dream compared with most ports - Regent have their own dedicated berth and staff there were just lovely. If we HAVE to find a downside, it could perhaps be said that entertainment was on the modest side but seemed to be enjoyed by all - and there was always enough room in the show lounge to accomodate everyone. Staff from Master downwwards, were multinational, always happy and friendly; a bridge visit was arranged on our request, as was a visit to the galleys for our party of four, conducted by the Executive Chef himself (a man from Portsmouth). A memorable cruise indeed - and by no means wildly expensive. If I sound gushing I can only say it is most unlike me and therefore well deserved. We shall return sharpish. Well done Regent.
