I travelled with my 7 year old daughter, my sister and her 12 year old son, and our parents.
We cruised to La Corunna, Bilbao, Brest and St Peters Port. I particularly loved Guernsey, and liked using the ships tender.
Bay of Biscay was very rough, infact the weather was poor most days. The rough seas made line dancing a bit of a challenge!
We were lucky enough to visit the Captain, and see all the ships instruments and computers.
I stayed in an inside cabin on A deck. This was a fab location, as we tended to use the stairs rather than needing the lift. My sister also had an inside cabin, we felt these were fine, as we were hardly ever in our cabins.
We ate at the 6pm sitting each evening - the food was really good. Being vegetarian was no problem. We really enjoyed the entertainment, watching a couple of acts twice!
I would definately cruise again with children, they had a great time. I'm sure P&O are the best. More activities for children would be good. We played a lot of football, basketball and bingo.
The open dining area (serving lunch) did seem a bit tired, but I've heard the ship has gone for a refit.
