We went on the cruise and yes it is good value for money aprt from a few things. The fact that the ship used to be a ferry means that when trying to sleep, you were bouncing up and down and rolling (slightly) due to the ferry (cruise ship) not having the best of stabilisers.
The Balcony Cabin we had was itself fine but the balcony was an add on that felt quite unsafe, when on, It wasn't built into the ship it was placed on the side of the ship. The interior of the ship was ok but not wow. The food was to a good standard and so was the cleanliness.
The shows were average and very basic. The all inclusive package that was on offer so you could get a soda package was a good idea and saved a lot of money. But the glass measures were poor, so you had to keep running back and forward especially if you were thirsty. The ports of call were of a good choice, slightly pricy but a lot of them you could do your own thing. For first time cruisers i would avoid this ship there are better ships in the same price bracket out there than this old ferry.
