I realise these reviews are matters of opinions but the experience of thomson cruises to the bigger ships of Princess and now P&O Ventura give good impressions to how a ships functions work and how they are organised. We had trip to Monte Carlo, the meaage wasnt plain and peeople dashing around to get to midship portside to the tender. No personnel was to han to ask where portside midship was and therefore missed the trip. The ship design is difficult to understand for the best part of the week as the dining rooms are not in line with ease and have to go up and down to reach the restaurant. When there on a table of 8 a woman opposite would not shut up and on and on about what she had done! After a few day we moved to another restaurant. Let me say that now Ive experienced both Princess and P&O I think I would prefer Princess as they have the smooth no problem idea and not disarray of P&O. Perhaps in the future we may try the oceana as this is a smaller ship but there are many cruise lines and to keep going on the same ship is like going to the same destination year after year and it must get boring ..or is it a comfort zone? The world holds many places and if it is possible to get to those places you should and not the same ones. Cruises are met with all little problems but at the end of the day its a holiday break so enjoy!
