Hi
We have just returned from our second P&O cruise, this time we sailed on the Arcadia........We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday, the ship, staff and entertainment was all to a very high standard and although the food was quite good we were not really impressed with the menu for the evening meals. We did not enjoy ....wilted greens, wilted spinach, black pudding with potato crush, pea puree, broccoli fritter and fondant potato with almost every meal, occasionally we just wanted a selection of steamed veg. I know it is hard to please so many people but variety would help.
We enjoyed the food on the Oceana and also the three Royal Caribbean cruises we have sailed on but these meals did not please us.

P&O stopped using steamers years back now. I think Arcadia has diesel engines!

When vegetable arrived with cheese on the waiters always supplied me with some plainly cooked vegetables. All you have to do is ask.

You could have had a selection steamed veg if you had asked. We have been on a table where someone has asked for these each evening.
