Excellent cruise on the Oceana,we were a a family group in our fifties, and seventies/eighties.My brother and his wife have cruise before but also thought it was excellent, my mum and her sister were 1st timers, myself and partner also. The embarkation was proccessed really quickly and was stressfree. We all had inside cabins which were very clean and comfy.
The freedom dining worked well for us as we were able to eat where and when we wanted.,food was very good in the L/restaurant,my only comment that the service can be very quick but Im sure if you ask they would adapt for you as all the staff were v. friendly. The excusions were good and we were pleased we had done them especially "the roof of norway" Gerainger +lovnate lake in Olden. The sun shone, we had a lovely cruise and would go again!!!!!!!!

Just come back from the same destination 17th - 26th July Embarkation was a nightmare ok Im 56 so for me not too bad but it was not easy for my 85 year old mum for whom this was a treat. Boat Excursion to Pulpit Rock was FANTASTIC Coach tour on Alesund was dreadful, no coach but a beaten up bus, couldnt understand much of couriers commentary cos of accent, intercom was dreadful. Two passengers sat on fold down seats, no seat belts, cooling was by leaving doors open and driving for 50 yards. Seaplane excursion was cancelled for dubious reasons. Entertainment was dire, female singer/comedienne was neither, dreadful voice and crude humour with children present. Male singer/comedien was hopeless, Simon Cowell would have slaughtered him. Clint Eastwood film was not suitable for mixed company and children with every 2 in 3 words being f..kOn board activities better for kids than adults and what there was for adults you pay for. Food in Plazza Restaurant was always cold, correction last night friday dinner was hot. Plenty of desert choices but mainly tasteless. Fried eggs never cooked always glutinous jelly on top of whites, think of salmonella. Several staff were rude and arrogant. Ok it took me 4 hours to compile a 7 page letter of complaint Sorry 98% disappointment.
