We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise - our first and certainly not our last! We went to the Norwegian Fjords on the Marco Polo cruise ship. The crew were so friendly, relaxed and very helpful. The food was excellent and served by our waiter who always had a cheerful smile. The entertainment was very good and the lectures were enjoyed. Our cabin was clean and comfortable although we did say that we would pay the extra for an outside cabin on our next cruise. We had 4 excursions all of which were organised well, the only down was the rain in Bergen!

Entertainment
good. Shows were enjoyed. Didn't go to see the comedians. Lectures first rate
Shore Excursions
Best one was Mount Dalsnibba and Eagle's Road
Staff
Our waiter - he knew his job so well and was always pleasant and smiling Nothing was too much trouble.
Children's Facilities	n/a

Onboard Activities
Yes. Would loved to have been able to sit on deck but there was never any chairs available.
Cabins
Yes We decided that on our next cruise we would pay the extra and have an outside cabin - we missed seeing daylight

Nice review. The Marco Polo is not so dissimilar in design to Fred Olsen' Boudicca and Black Watch and the Saga ships, if you like this kind of older/more intimate vessel.

Thanks for the review. We have been looking at Marco polo as an alternative to Ocean Majesty. Sounds as though she might suit us. It rains a lot in Bergen doesn't it? Judith
