We have just got back from our 3rd trip with Royal Carribean, and we had a wonderful time, but there were some definite changes this time. The entertainment was a wonderful as ever, the food was brilliant for choice and taste but never HOT either in main dining room or buffet dining. The state room attendant was very attentive as always, but we ordered breakfast in our room one day that did not arrive and RC seem to have cut back on the chocolates! Most of the bars on board seemed to have a stock availability problem half way through the trip, the waiters and bar staff having to go from bar to bar to get bottled beer, and nuts/nibbles were not very forthcoming at all. We do feel as well that in these times of a credit crunch still paying tax and gratuity on every drink ordered is a little over the top. Our bar bill was twice as much as before for fewer drinks. We think we will look at another cruiseline next time. All in all though we did have a wonderful time and as it was our honeymoon, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
