We honeymooned on board the thomson destiny in jan this year, after getting a very good last minute deal. We were not disappointed, the ship was fantastic even though it is over 25 years old. It was a carribean cruise and we visited some great places, about 10 ports in all. The staff were great, food and drinks too. The only thing i would suggest to people is to upgrade to include drinks before you as we did spend alot on board on drinks even though we aren't massive drinkers. If we would have accepted the travel agents offer to upgrade we'd of saved just under 1000 pounds over 15 days!!!! We were a bit worried about the entertainment being aimed at the oldr generation as the majority of people on board we over 50 and us being 30 worried us, however we neednt of wooried it was aimed at all ages and very good indeed! If someone would have asked me if i could change anything about the destiny or if i had to complain about something i eally couldnt or wouldnt. The staff are unbelievabley good and friendly remembering everyones names etc. Fantastic Thomson, Thanks a bunch for a great honeymoon and a great first cruise we shall cruise again definatley!!
Quality of Food
Couldn't fault the food, plenty of vareity and at any time of the day
Entertainment
Fab - the cruise director Keith does an excellent job. All the shows were great especially the bond themed one and also the comedian that was flown in from England he was very good.
Shore Excursions
Definatley the dolphins in tortola.
Staff
Keith the cruise director was fab.
Children's Facilities	n/a

Onboard Activities
Ther was always plenty to do, i enjoyed the cash bingo especially.
Cabins
The inside cabin we had was fine i actually expected it to be smaller and i wouldnt have a problem going with an inside cabin again

In my reckoning £1000 on drinks on a two weeks cruise (especially in the Caribbean, when most days are 'port' days and you are likely to be off the ship for a good part of the day) is some going, especially as Thomson do not impose the 15%-18% tax/service charge on drinks that so many cruisers complain about on this site. Were you drinking vintage wines for the duration??? Glad you enjoyed your first cruise though, and hope you've got some great honeymoon photos you can look back on in your twilight years.

we always go all inclusive - even the soft drinks through the day mount up - and we always book early to get the all inclusive free- at least you do not have a bill at the end of two weeks - we are on board for two weeks this year and yes we got the all incl for free - but at least you can relax and not have to worrry -I still think is is well worth paying for it - but if you book early then its free
