Pre Christmas treat!!

As a 70+yrs widow I was naturally very nervous about this my first cruise for thirty years. Despite a late departure from Liverpool all went very well. My cabin was spacious enough for one, my Stewardess was excellent. The food and choice of restaurant was first class. Waiters were very attentive, they work so hard. I have no complaints at all. The trips even though the weather was cold, naturally it was just prior to Christmas, were very good. A very interesting visit to Ruonne and a horse drawn carriage in Bolougne to the Christmassy town centre, returning to the dock and enjoying hot punch from very friendly vendors. We had coach travel into Dublin to the very busy shopping area but I was glad to get back to the comfort of the lounges and the entertainment on board, which was excellent. I will certainly go again - preferably on a small ship similar to the Fred Olsen Black Prince. I made friends from my home town and being a cruise from Liverpool I think the majority of passengers were from the North West. You can't beat em!! Very recommendable. Thank you. Ruth Grimshaw
