teething problems

this was a maiden voyage on this very large ship.
Good points: cabin, communal facilities, restaurant food, staff
bad points:
embarkation from Genoa was appalling. It took 4 hours to get on board. Genoa is a ferry port. It cannot handle the number of passengers. Neither can it's small airport handle the simultaneous disembarkation of such a large ship. The cafeteria was always overcrowded and food not replenished efficiently. The tipping procedures were awful. Most of the passengers were queueing on the last day to cancel the otherwise automatic and overgenerous payment. On- board bar prices were expensive cf lines where payment in sterling is the norm.
