Four of us went on the cruise through the Panama Canal in November last year. We would recommend a balancy stateroom as when we were travelling through the Canal we sat on the balcony all day watching and experiencing the whole adventure in the comfort of our rooms. The evening entertainment was first class with plenty of variety, singing, comedy, dancing, classical and pop. During the day, especially the days at sea, there were plenty of sunbeds to go around, although at times the weather was a little on the cool side. At the evening meal we sat with two American couples, they were very friendly and we still keep in contact to this day. The excursions were very good, especially the one to Acopulco, watching the divers and the city tour. Probably the poorest one was to Cabo San Lucas, when we sat in a coach for around an hour and a half to visit the Hotel California (made famous by the Eagles) and then another hour or so getting back to the ship. The only downfalls were that the sea was at times quite choppy. Very often the ship was delayed docking, due to the ineffiency of the port authorities. Overall we had a fantastic and time, and would recommend it to everyone.

We tried all the different menus, lunch times we usually ate in the self service restraunt (which at times was very busy) but we had a late sitting in the dining room, which was excellent.
