We have just returned from another fantastic cruise with Seabourn, on the Legend. Our first time on the Legend, having cruised on the Spirit, Pride and originally the Sun, since transferred to Holland America as the Prinsendam. The service and ambience is superb, nothing is too much trouble, when you want something there is always someone at hand to answer your query or get what you require. Not a cheap cruise but as almost everything is inclusive, excellent value for money. The only items that are extra are the shore excursions, purchases from the shop or special wines which are your choice. Being a small ship, 208 passengers maximum, embarking and dis-embarking is completely hassle free. The entertainment is limited but excellent in presentation. Within hours it seems that whole crew know your name although you have never met them before and by the next day the waiting staff know your favourite tipple and likes and dislikes. It really has that home from home feeling. The open seating works very well, if you wish to join other passengers you can or if you prefer to dine with your partner that is your choice or use the 24 hour in-suite service. The cuisine is excellent and if there is nothing which really takes your fancy or you want something special then let them know the day before and it is yours. It is certainly a nice way to meet a variety of people from different countries and backgrounds. Over the years we have made some wonderful friends. We are looking forward to our next cruise on the Spirit in February/March and going on the Odyssey and or Sojourn in the future.
