Since seeing her launched, I finally realised my dream by going on a 5 day cruise on the QE2 last week. Both my husband and I had a fantastic time, the only fault was it was only five days. Cabin, food, staff and the overall cost of drinks excellent. We found that because we were paying in dollars the cost of drinks were in some occasions cheaper to purchase on board than in our local pub!! Most people on the cruise had a genuine passion for the ship which I feel created a bond between fellow passengers. I also had the privilege of bumping into Mrs Muller who has lived on the QE2 for 9 years who informed me that she is very sad to be leaving the ship, but will move "house" to the QM2!
To sum it up the whole expereince was more than I could have imagined and even my husband enjoyed the formality of it as this was the one thing he was dreading. Anyone wishing to go on her before she goes to Dubia should try and book, in my opinion it was worth every penny as you can not buy dreams.

| Quality of Food | |
| Mauratania and Lido, both excellent service and the quality and selection of food excellent | | Entertainment | |
| Mostly entertained ourselves along with fellow passengers. | | Shore Excursions | |
| Only negative comment about the Cruise,as we arrived in Bilbao on a Sunday and there was a local festivial there really was not much to do except the museum, however we were lucky to hear and see a Scottish orchestra perform near the museum. Due to the French fishermans strike action we could not dock in La Rochelle and were taken to aquaint little sea side town called Soulac Sur Mer. | | Staff | |
| All the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. | | Children's Facilities | |
| Although we don't have children there seemd to be plenty for the children to do. As it was an English bank holiday there seemed to bea lot of children on board who seemed to be as happy as the adults and behaved impeccably. | | Onboard Activities | |
| Yes, too much to do on a five day cruise | | Cabins | |
| We had an outside cabin on deck 4,although a little small it was very comfotable, clean and very little movement or noise experienced | | Overall Rating | |
