We sailed on Queen Victoria on 10th June from Southampton which is a great start to the holiday. The Art Deco Interior of the ship was first class . Our cabin was all we could have asked and the cabin was kept spotless by William our cabin steward. The first night in the restaurant was very slow but it transpired that we had new waiting staff and they were feeling their feet. The food was delicious although we did have to train the staff to give us coffee at the end of the meal and not half way through! The Lido was disappointing as it is very crowded at times and not laid out to best advantage. We did not like the drinks served in large white mugs, not the table service as on QE2. We took two excursions which were o.k. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would sail on Victoria again.
