My husband and I decided to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary by cruising to the North Cape on Cunard's new ship, Queen Victoria.
We were very impressed with this ship. From boarding to disembarking the organisation was smooth. The Princess Grill stateroom was spacious and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable and the settee, chairs and desk were very useful. Although we felt that a balcony was essential we did not use it very much on this cruise.
The roomy bathroom had a shower and bath and was well appreciated.
The ship felt very stable with only a slight rock at times.
The service from all staff was impeccable but we thought that the food on The QM2 was better. Similarly we preferred the dance band on the QM2 but otherwise the entertainment was varied and of a high calibre.
We look forward to sailing on this ship again.

| Ate in princess Grill most of the time. The Lido was too busy for us.
The soups and meat and fish dishes were excellent. Good vegetarian choice. | | Entertainment | |
| Enjoyed using the theatre box. All the shows were good and particularly the violinist and the comedian. | | Shore Excursions | |
| We walked aroung on our own except for the tour of Mageroy Island at the North Cape. We were lucky that the weather was good and we had no fog on that day. Had a good view of the Cape | | Staff | |
