Just returned last week from Olives & Ouzo cruise woth OV. Had a great time, the ship is great kept immaculately clean by the ever smiling staff. i'll start with pors of call - Limassol - give it a miss nothing at all to see apart from a pleasant stroll on sea front. Rhodes Town - easy to walk into and a beautiful place to spend a few hours meandering around lovely streets. Kusadasi - again easy to walk into and a great place for designer gear etc but one word of warning, if you go on tour to Ephesus 9 which is fabulous place to visit) beware of guide trying to hard sell carpets etc when you get off coach - we were taken to one side by guide and introduced to ex-mayor and taken into a room by ourselves where they give you wine and try really hard to sell you carpets, gold etc, in the end we had to be quite rude in able to get out of building so beware, but the ordinary shop owners don't really bother you and we had great fun haggling down prices.
Santorini - such a beautiful place, get the bus to other side of island-cruises-summer-holidays/'>island about 1 euro 40 to Kamari and chill out on sea front and in afternoon return to Fira and wander through small alleyways to stunning view of Caldera, finally my favourite Mykonos - also reached on foot a beautiful beautiful place. finally the ship - fantastic right down from all waiters, cleaning staff etc upto Captain who was a great laugh over tannoy when still in Rhodes and OV was berthed next to Emerald Princess, entertainment staff got us all singing between ships and it was a great afternoon enjoyed by all on top decks. Food always plenty and HOT, put 1/2 stone on in 1 week All in all a great time will def. return next year

Booked on Olives and Ouzos in September. Did you do any of the organised trips or did you do most trips on your own? We went on Med Cruise with OV a couple of years ago and although most of the trips were very good, they were a bit expensive.

We also have just returned from same cruise. We loved it all. I wouldn't suggest missing any port - for Limassol, there's a nice beach you could try on road to Paphos called "Kurion" Beach. Needs a taxi but you get to see the area rather than stay on the ship. We also enjoyed the sing off in Kusadasi OV .v. Emerald Princess - Britannia does rule the waves!
