My first time with RSSC on the Seven Seas Navigator. I never knew service like this existed! I have sailed on many cruise ships and even worked on them in a previous life, but this was by far the best. I was a little nervous about the trip as I thought the age group would have been too old, but my fears were unfounded. Our fellow passengers were so friendly and, although sophisticated were up for having a bit of a party too!
The attentiveness of the ship's company was amazing. How they remembered our names all the time I do not know. I really rate the all inclusive drinks policy. This was not limited to house brands. If you wanted Veuve Cliquot it was on tap! Yes of course the cruise fare was not the cheapest, but I definitely felt absolute value for money. Not having to sign for drinks gave a much more relaxed feel to the whole thing.
The restaurant service was impeccable. This service extended beyond the restaurant to the deck buffets as well. We were greeted by the Maitre d' on deck, who then proceeded to lay up a table for two, with full silverware. Our food and drinks orders were taken from the table. We were made to feel like celebrities!
For a relatively small ship, the shows were impressive as was the showlounge. This really is a small ship with a big ship feel. The staterooms are very well appointed and kept immaculatley clean.
The ports were very well selected - each one a destination in its own right. RSSC also gave generous time in the ports, with a couple of late sails. None of this 'lets get them back on board so they can increase our onboard revenue' tactic.
I also like the approach to dress code. You did not feel like you were being dictated to in terms of how to dress. There was guidance, but generally the impression was that the passengers could decide for themselves how they would like to dress - and it was always appropriate and very elegant.
This truly was a memorable voyage. My first with this line and I certainly hope it won't be my last. A truly pleasurable and relaxing experience.

| In all service areas, the food was consistently excellent | | Entertainment | |
| I tend not to go to the shows, but the one Vegas show we saw was very good | | Shore Excursions | |
| The ship arranged an evening classical concert in one of the amphitheatres at Ephesus. It was beautiful and very well organised. | | Staff | |
| Micki the Maitre d' - outstanding with his attention to detail. Paul Reynolds - Cruise Director - I mentioned in conversation that it was my partner's birthday over a late night drink in one of the bars. when we returned to the stateroom there was a birthday cake and two flutes of champagne.
