This was our first cruise, so we did not know what to expect. We stayed at The Radisson the night before with parking included and we took their shuttle bus to the port. Our luggage was taken from us so we did not have to worry about that once we were at the port. Checking in was easy and once on the ship we were made to feel very welcome. Watch out for the "welcome" cocktail though, it isn't free and it does contain alcohol. We were very impressed with our cabin although it was not large it was big enough for 2. The cabin stewards work really hard, your towels are changed twice a day and the room is kept very clean. We loved our towel animals as well. The food was very good in the buffets, but watch out for the Chocolate Buffet it can get a bit aggressive in there! We had our evening meals in the platinum dining room, with Christopher and Ni our servers. They were both excellent. The food was good quality and presented well, not huge portions (thank goodness). My only complaint was that being a vegetarian there was only one choice and it was usually quite spicy. They are willing to help you if you don't like something though. Make sure you take something warm to wear in the dining room as it is quite cool in there. Now onto the best part of the cruise as far as my Husband is concerned - The entertainment. He particularly liked The Glory Dancers, Parents with young children beware these dancers don't have much on in the way of costumes. We had to sit through 30mins of bingo just so he could get a good seat near the front every night. The ladies in the audience only get their turn with the Hollywood shows night when we are treated to the 4 male dancers doing "You can leave your hat on." PHEW! The other performers were excellent too, The Comedians, Illusionist, and magicians all had really good acts. All in all we had a wonderful time and would recommend Carnival Glory.

We were on the Glory in may (our 3rd Carnival cruise)Wester Carib. The foot in the Golden dining room was exceptional but it would have been better warm. Most nights just warm and others cold. Apparently it comes a long way before it gets to us but they should sort this out. Maire de was abit OTT - thought he knew my wife from another cruise but he didn't and he questioned it. We knew we did'nt know him and he got on our nerves and got friendlier and friendlier as the week went on (waiting for his envelope at the end of the cruise) and he still insisted he knew my wife. HE DID NOT. The ship looked a bit tired especially in the bard areas near the elevators - material faded, bunched up and did not look very clean. Otherwise we had a great tine but the Glory was our least favourite ship of the 3 we'd been on so far.
