Our trip started by flying to Vancouver then on to Fairbanks where we joined Collette Travel Tours for a 4-5 days trip of Alaska, taking in Fairbanks, where we joined local families for an evening meal, which was a great experience, saw the Alaska pipeline, travelled in observer cars on Alaskian Railway for trip along Nenana River and through Denali Park, taking in the wildlife, then to Alyeska Ski Resort where we experience a sight of the Northern Lights. On to Explorer Glacier and Chugach Mountains then joined Ryndam in Seward for homeward trip calling in at various Glaciers, Sitka, Juneau, Mount Roberts, Ketchikan and finally back to Vancouver. Marvellous holidays every taken into account. Collette Tours were excellent, and their guide who travelled with us had absolutely everthing covered. Our experience on the Holland America "Ryndam" was also excellent. Great ship, wonderful food and entertainment. I am Coeliac (which means a gluten free diet) and the catering for me on this cruise was very good. Had a really enjoyable holiday and would throughly recommend it to anyone.
