Thank you P&O for a very pleasant cruise. A couple of little moans, we dined in tne cinnamon and found that there were only 3 starters [ at home we have 5] only 2 soups [ home 4 ] alas only the choice of 5 courses [ bah ] sweets 5 [tut ] followed by cheese and biscuits and coffee. Our butler was not on this trip so had to make do with waiters. What really spoiled our meal was that some others wanted to converse and be friendly and wanted to enjoy themselves and not complain Entertainment
This was top class. Shows were very good, different acts came on board at different ports. ARENA, Darren Day very funny-Kev Orkian really talented-Theatre company not the best in the world but a 100% for effort. OTHER CLUBS comedians were very entertaining some better than others [ but had a laugh ]--Suzi Woods a lovely singer.
Plenty of quizzes-games-- bingo [ good prizes ] and other activities to keep you busy.
Excursions.
Well organized all the trips that we took part in were good value for money.
Children.
Seen a couple that one would loved to have choked but on the whole they were very well behaved and seemed to be having a good time. Children entertainers looked very efficient mind you had to laugh cruelly along with the kids when Mr Noddy fell down the stairs [silly boy ].
Crew.
The waiters and bar staffed were excellent, give them respect and they will repay double. Cabin steward was first class although on formal nights she you used to shout down the corridor Hey Mr Jim you look like a penguin [ still liked her ]
Cabins.
Very comfortble --well equiped and kept spotless. Balcony seats a bit uncomfortable so took cushion from cabin placed this under bottom [ perfik ]
Embarkation -Disemarkation.
This went like clockwork, a lot of effort must have been put into this to make it go so smoothly. Well done P&O and Southampton.
Conclusion.
A thoroughly enjoyable cruise. Thank you to the 98% fellow passengers who helped make this so. To P&O well done the ship does you credit. Would do it again and recommend to anyone.

l totally agree with all the comments about Ventura and would like to add that l took my Grandchildren aged eight and nine on the weekend party cruise to Brugge l have cruised before but they never had but they had such a fantastic time l'm hoping to take them again as soon as l can.The look of pure elation on my Grandsons face once he had mastered the trapezze in the Cirque Ventura cirus skills was beyond belief and it gave him so much confidence. The kids club which ran until about midnight was very well organised and both my Grandchildren loved being left there. The only complaint l have was the menu in the Cinnabon Resturant wasn't very child frendly and both my Grandchildren had to request an allternative and all they were offered was Chicken nuggets or Fish fingers both with chips, not very imaginative considering all the hype they give about Michelin-stared chefs.

How refreshing to hear new cruisers comments about Ventura. This is the 2nd one I have read and can say thank goodness you are like a breath of fresh air after all the negative comments. We have only been on Ventura once. Liked her a lot but have other preferances. i.e. Oceana. Daughter son in law and grandkids are on her at the moment. Cruise N817. Have had a phone call saying that the waiters could provide tomato soup and anything else they wished for. If the menu in the BAYTREE wasnt to their wishes. What more could anyone ask? (Go on then tell me) We have now been on 5 P.O cruises and wish everyone would stop knocking Ventura. We all have our favourites I know we are not gold tier members, but some of them also like Ventura! Each to there own!
