Have just returned from the Ventura. We have always cruised with P&O but I think this one has spoilt their image. The menues are not good and they dont publish that you can have steak or chicken as alternative options although the food was good. We had to ask for this option. The cabin staff and restaurant waiters are superb but bar staff are not as friendly as they have been on other cruises we have been on. I think the size of the ship and the number of passengers to be looked after has a bearing on this. Also seem to feel the motion of the ship more than on others even on calm seas which we had throughout. Much smoother on Oriana and Oceana and whilst we will continue cruising with P&O we wont return to Ventura.
Quality of Food
The food was good but not a great variation on menues
Entertainment
Shows we saw were good in particular the shows by the resident performers in the theatre.
