Alaska sights and views

we have just returned from a 14 day cruise to Alaska. Overall we had a great time and were lparticularly lucky with the weather all the way, apart from 1 day of rain. Despite the inital shambles of boarding the ship in Vancouver we enjoyed our cruise. The best highlights and experiences were the Whale watching in Prince Rubert and seeing the Hubbard Glacier. Although we have been with Celelbrity previously we did find that this ship was in need of a refurb as it appeared to be a bit rough around the edges. The entertainment was good apart from the "Starring you", which was okay but for me should have been a daytime event not an evening highlight. I felt it was Celebritys excuse for an alternative entertainment to providing and paying for an act. In other words lets get the passengers to entertain the other guests!. The food was nice but we have had better on previous Celebrity Cruises. We dined a couple of times in the USS America, alternative dining experience and this was exceptional. We also became friends with some other passengers that we will now keep in touch with. I would recommend going to Alaska if you have not yet tried as the scenery was fantastic and too hard to describe enough to give it full justice. Overall good and would use Celebrity again over Princess anyday

plenty offered but seemed very much the same most days. The spa was expensive at $17 for a day use and the Turkish bath was that hot you could only bear a minute if you were lucky!
