went from Harwich on The Jewel Of The Seas toThe Baltics in August - ship, food, entertainment, company, sightseeing excellent - the only fly in the ointment was the night before we docked and our cabin steward - Henry - stopped us in the corridor on the way to dinner and and asked us if we had remembered to put his money (the tip) in the envelope as he wanted to pick it up tonight rather than have us forget it the next day. As a result we halved his tip and explained that British people do not ask for tips as it is considered rude. Having said that I have been on many cruises and never encountered this before.
Quality of Food
Excellent - am vegetarian and was more than catered for
Entertainment
Entertainment was excellent - there was a British comedian on one evening that was very good but the Americans could not understand the humour!!
Shore Excursions
Only went on excursions in St Petersburg. On the whole very good except for the one to The Hermitage and the guide could hardly speak English so we missed out on that
Staff
Everyone was equally good and polite and they all remembered you by name - even if you only dined with them the once
Children's Facilities

Onboard Activities
The golf simulator was not working for the whole cruise and the on board quizzes were often done by someone who did not speak English very well
