Travelling to the Canaries in september was fantastic, the weather was hot for the majority of the cruise.
The main restaurant was however fantastic and the Horizon grill was well worth paying the extra for.
The entertainment was fantastic.
We had a 1 yr old with us and we used the night nursary, this was fantastic as it allowed us to get our dinner and catch a show.
We did have only one minor problem with the cruise, the room we had originally was of a quite poor quality, having cruised on the oceana before we were expecting a similar standard of room. this one looked like it had not been cleaned for a while. we complained and it was passed back and forth until we were allocated 'the only other empty room on the ship' which was a down grade to the lowest inside cabin which was of the standard we had expected. This ship is getting old and without a complete overhaul including the cabins it is starting to show.
Quality of Food
we ate in the Main restaurant and the Horizon Grill.
Entertainment
All excellent.
Shore Excursions
Whale watching in Madeira was fantastic.
Staff
Head waiter in the plaza for the Kids tea, he was always very helpful.
