Ocean Village cruise linbe area new cruise line and compared to other cruise lines they port at the most destinations they have the best deals, we went on the ocean village 2 and it was the best holiday i have ever been on ocean village are fanstastic. Royal Caribbean may hav the largest and best equiped ships but you miss out on the destinations. told by my friend she went with P&O and they had tinned friut near the end of thereholiday as there was no fresh fruit left. Other cruise lines have no chance aginst the ocean village and when ocean village 3 comes out what is bassed in the travel east they will become uks number 1 cruise company we are going bach on ocean village in feb to the fabulous destinations it ports at.

Hi someone has said that ocean cruises are like butlins holidays, we have just been on the escape which was great, we saw ocean village cruise ship it looked really nice, is it much bigger than the escape and did you have a window cabin. Also is there a cinema etc on board? Thanks

Answer by Peel, Bridlington (14 Oct 08 08:15) to a QUESTION by ashton (08 Oct 08 20:01)
The cabins on Ocean Village are large and shower cubicle big enough for two! loads of storage space walk in wardrobes, dressing area with floor to ceiling mirrors. big picture windows. There is a decent sized cinema too. Take a look at their web site it shows you all you need to know. Less formal than most cruise ships which suits us. We dont like too much dressing up and prefer to sit where we like in the restaurants not on designated tables with strangers. The entertainment is good but does have a few ex red coats who I might add are great entertainers. If you like 5*star waiter service and west end entertainment this is not the cruise for you but if you like us appreciate good value with a more relaxed atmosphere you will love it. Happy Cruising !
