First ever cruise, wasn't sure what to expect but had a fantastic holiday. The island-cruises-summer-holidays/">island star was very relaxed and with no set time for dinner this really appealed. Staff were friendly and we felt safe and relaxed at all times. We sailed on the Med Essence itenary and all port destinations were wonderful. Everything about the trip was well organised and hassle free. The cabin was a lot more spacious that I expected. The bathroom could have done with upgrading but everything was clean. Would definately sail on the Island Star again and have taken home some lovely memories.

| Ate once in the Oasis restaurant, food was lovely. Ate mostly in the Beachcombers restaurant where you helped yourself, the food was always warm and to a very good standard. | | Entertainment | |
| Don't usually watch musicals, but enjoyed the musical perfomances and was impressed by the high standard. Most of the Jongleur comedians were very funny. Party nights on deck were fun. | | Shore Excursions | |
| Hard to choose, every day was a highlight. Portofino was extremely beautiful, took a private motor boat excursion from Sante Margharita to Rapello then to Portofino. | | Staff | |

| There were quite a few activies on board, as the weather was good spent most of time at sea sunbathing on deck. Visited the Spa which was nice. | | Cabins |  |
