booked this cruise 14 month ago.as we have cruised many times. and thought it would be nice to be one of the first aboard this brand new ship.our first impressions decor very pink.on arrival to our cabin very nice.spacious and yet again more pink.as usual with most ships our rooms were very well looked after by the staff.restaurant black pearl.food to a reasonable standard.i did feel the shows were mainly cast members and very samey.john the cruise director was so funny he was a joy to see.and would love him to be on our next cruise.staff in general were helpfull.did find getting on and of the ship very time consuming. but then again same with most large ships. will say did like the system of collecting tour tickets .made the process quicker.and more efficient.we had som fabulous trips .st petersburg absoluteley awsome, went on tour of st petersburg.what some beatiful buildings.included in th tour a lunch at the acadamy.which was wonderful a bitof russian cussiene.then after lunch the tour took us to the hermatage.again please dont miss this.only problem not enough time in the hermatage.i do reccomend any one who wants to visit the hermatage give yourself a minimum of at least 6 hours so much to see.next day went to peterhoff fountains and gardens. absolutely fabulous DONT MISS.all in all st petersburg the highlight.other ports of call talin did a escourted tour found this very imformative.we found the baltic cruise very worthwhile.and certainly glad we did it.again the highlights had to be st petersburg and peterhoff.coming back to the ship clean and very tidy but expected more.may be have been spoilt with other cruise lines royal carribean.
