northern atlantic crossing

This was a disappointing cruise experience. The long queues for anytime dinning caused us to change to fixed seating, which worked well, with pleasant helpful staff. The quality of food was inconsistent with some excellent meals and others very mediocre. The lack of public indoor space was a problem, especially in this a north atlantic crossing when it was unsuitable to be on deck. All the lectures were over subscribed with 2 people seated on each step and many standing,a real safety issue. Tendering at Nanotalik was slow the last tender only allowing one hour on shore. Basically the ship carried far too many passangers for the facilities available.
Princess has some superb itenaries but I doubt that we would sail with them again

My wife and I also sailed on the same voyage as the Leyton's from Winchester, their comments made me query if we were on the same ship. This was our very first cruise and we enjoyed it immensly, there were no problems with any time dinning, 8pm onwards tables were within reason always available anyway if a table was not ready you were given a radio alarm which alerted you of your table being ready. The ports of call were interesting with different climates, changeable weather to be expected. A various amount of quality entertainment available all day,as for inside cabins we too had one, as a base and somewhere to sleep it was acceptable and well appointed we loved every minute of the cruise even the extended trip round New York was entertaining.
