Our Cruise was Amazing !!!!
Our Favourite restaurant by far was the Oylmpic there was a cover charge for this venue at £15 per head but it was worth every penny, the service was excellent, some dishes were cooked at the table side (the food was fantastic) and the wine list went on and on ! we also liked very much the Metropolitan restaurant and the service given to us by our waiter John T was incredible he made us feel that we were the only couple in there.
Our cabin was spacious, very clean and our stateroom attentendant was always at hand nothing was any trouble to him at all, room service was very good and always on time with a smile.
The excursions were very well organised with lot's of chioce to suit every taste !!
With so many restaurants, bars and shows together with sail away parties and entertainers both inside and alfesco there was never a dull moment, and after all that if you had the energy then there was the disco and the casino (so much to do so little time)
This was a holiday of a lifetime and it lived up to everthing that we expected and more besides, there are cheaper cruise ships however you do get what you pay for and I would recomend Celebrity for that special holiday/birthday/wedding or anniversary.
If there was a negative to be said then it would be that the ship's onboard curency is the American Dollar and at the time we travelled the exchange rate was not so much in our favour, also any duty free purchased both on board or whilst on excursions was only given to you on your last sailing day (you and your bags were screened without fail daily on return to ship) this ment that you were a captive audience paying for any alcohlic drink on board from any bar or from your mini bar in your stateroom with a 15% service charge on every drink purchased !! we have cruised before and not experienced this expensive ruling.
