Azamara Journey exceeded all our expectations. In September08 we lived for 14 days in the quiet luxury of a country club, complete with fire places in various areas, and at the same time visited two ports in each of Israel and Egypt. This is the way to see these 2 ports in comfort and safety.
Breakfast in the balcony held an unprecedented range of food with a warning phone call that it was on its way.
Eating at the stern buffet was a treatfom breakfast to dinner, particularly under the lights of Santorini.
Open dining and no reqirement to dress up even for the Captain's toast party furtered the informal but polite atmosphere.
Canapes at 5 on the balcony were a real treat.
An international range of customers and a wide age range also were a benefit. Total capacity 700!
The butler was just a friendly steward in a dinner suit.
