Ventura Mini Cruise

Reviewed By: Kitt, Holton le Clay Grimsby on 2nd Dec 2008
Cruise Line: P&O Cruises Times cruised before: 10+
Cruise Ship: Ventura Sailed: April, 2008
Destination: Mini Cruises Age: 56-65
We went on the pre maiden voyage on Ventura to Brugge. The ship was obviously in pristine condition but is very much aimed at families. There is no quiet area as even the library is open sided. The cabins are large by today's standards. The restaurant was beautiful and the food excellent. There seemed to be a good number of tables for two.The theatre company was probably the best we have seen.We had no complaints but if you wish for a quiet time particularly in the school holidays avoid the ship as it can be over-run with children.A money saving tip in Brugge is to take the free shuttle bus from the ship to Blankenburg and then the train into Brugge as you will save yorself a packet when compared to the P&O tor price.
