My wife plus four good friends of mine and myself have recently returned from a week long cruise sailing south along the west coast of the States and taking in Mexico on board the Vision of the Seas. This was the first cruise my wife and I had done with Royal Caribbean having cruised before mostly on Ocean Village. We enjoyed the Royal Caribbean experience and would rate it higher than Ocean Village. The Dining Room along with the staff was very nice with a good choice of meals allbeit that it was only a three course meal. Breakfast we mostly took in the self service buffet which whilst having a good choice of food was at times somewhat rather manic. The entertainment on the ship was fine with a very very keen MC who tried and succeeded in whipping up the audience, sometimes much to our amazment, a bit of a frenzy. But there again, we are English and far more reserved than the majority of the holidaymakers who were American. We felt that the staff on this ship were very good and this includes our cabin boy who looked after us very well.
The decor on this ship is first class and it was very clean too. A good cruise that I would recommend.
