The highlight of the cruise was sailing the length of the Panama Canal (our reason for choosing this cruise) in daylight and with an excellent guide/commentary. The rest of the cruise/itinerary was also very good. The shore excursions were excellent. Our Balcony Suite was spacious and comfortable and strongly recommended (for those without balconies days at sea could be tedious with insufficient deck seating). Entertainment was adequate but not a high point. The on board lecturer was poor. Food was good albeit not of gourmet standard. Overall the cruise was very good value for money. The low point was the return journey when we were deposited at the airport far too early (with a long and tiring flight in prospect). A short tour to fill in the time between leaving the ship and catching the homeward flight could easily have been arranged and would have been a boon.
