We had never fancied cruising in the past, but saw a bargain in the press and decided to try it out. The island-cruises-summer-holidays/">Island Star was just great. Embarkation was very simple and speedy, we were quickly shown to our cabin which was inside on a lower deck. The cabin was bigger than expected, well designed and had more storage space than we needed. The crew were attentive, cheerful and friendly. The food was varied and delicious, alcoholic drinks were not overly expensive. Excursions were rather highly priced so we did our own thing in most of ports of call. Entertainment on board was first rate. It was our first cruise but won't be our last!
