My wife and I cruised on the MSC Poesia from Venice in October 2008 for a 7 days. We had read some reviews about MSC some of which were not complimentary. We were really pleased with the ship. and we wou;ld cruise with MSC again. We had a balcony cabin which was of a very high standard. The food and service was very good. We were a little concerned as what the entertainment would be like as we had not cruised on an Italian ship before, however we both found the entainment to be very good and the theatre was magnificent. We had read reviews criticising announcemnts on Italian ships as bening too long and noisey. The announcements on the Poesia were kept to a minimum and didn't bother us at all. . Princess is our favourite cruise line, we have been with them on 4 occasions. This cruise was our 12th cruise and whilst not up to the standard of Princess it was good value for money and we would cruise with MSC again.
