Iceland and Greenland cruise

Reviewed By: Goodeve, Lincoln on 25th Nov 2008
Cruise Line: Fred. Olsen Cruises Times cruised before: 10+
Cruise Ship: Boudicca Sailed: August, 2008
Destination: Northern Europe Age: 46-55
We had no intention of going on another cruise because we had only just got back from a Baltic cruise but we are really pleased that we did.Not only did we get into Greenland three times but we saw some fantastic scenery as well. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The Captain even diverted the ship so that we would be above the 'HMS Hood', where we had a remembrance service which was appreciated by the majority of passengers.
The food and entertainment were excellent and we are already looking for another cruise with Fred Olsen.
Quality of Food4
We dined in the Tintagel and the Secret Garden cafe.
Entertainment4
We enjoyed the majority of the shows but not keen on the comedians.
Shore Excursions4
It was really easy to do our own excursions on this cruise.
Staff5
Cabin stewardess was excellent and really made our cruise more enjoyable.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities4
The activities that we joined in with were very good and the staff who supervised these events were excellent even under difficult condtions.
Cabins5
Our suite was much more than we expected and we would reccomend a suite for special occasions.
