Land of the midnight sun

Reviewed By: on
Myself and my husband have just returned from a cruise on the Ocean Princess called the land of the midnight sun. It was a great cruise with fantastic scenery. The ports of call were all very good apart from Murmansk but even that was interesting in its own way, but put it this way I would not want to live there. It was strange to have daylight all the time and to have the sun shining.

The ship itself was very well run and maintained, the food was excellent in the main restaurant and the buffet. Our tabel waiters Tony and Sam were great so was our cabin steward who kept our cabin spotless.
The captain Stefana Ravera was the best captain we have ever had on a cruise, he was seen about the ship every day and was very friendly and had plenty time for the passengers. The rest of the crew were very friendly also.
The only downfall if you could call that was that the entainment was not great, the musicians were very good and so were the production shows, the dancers and singers work so hard.
We were in this ship last year when it was the Tahiatian Princess and it is still as good as it was then.
