We recently returned from a wonderful cruise and land tour of Alaska.Joined Island Princess in Vancouver soon boarded and away to our cabin on Baja deck luggage had already been delivered to our cabin.Good storage space and comfortable bed so no complaints there.We like early dining so we had prebooked at the Provence Dining Room sharing a table with four other passengers.They were very pleasant and we had a lot of fun over the seven day cruise.After dinner each evening we normally went to see the shows at the theatre all varied but entertaining.First port of call Ketchikan was interesting took the free shuttle bus and did our own sightseeing,Juneau came next we had booked the Mount Roberts Tramway trip and thoroughly enjoyed the day views were brilliant and there are some good walking trails.When we docked at Skagway we had prebooked the dog sled tour which was wonderful well worth the money.Last two days at sea were amazing the scenery just took our breath away and of course the weather was great which made the cruise even more enjoyable.In our opinion this was truly an amazing experience which exceeded our expectations and we had no complaints.

Hi,enjoyed your review,we have never been on a princess cruise before,done 14 other cruise ships.My question is we want to travel to Alaska but not too sure about Princess ships would you reccommend this company,also what are the bar prices like and do you have any gratuities to pay.Thank you
