We wanted to do something memorable and special for our Golden Wedding, and decided on a Cruise. Many of our friends have been regular cruisers so we thought we would give it a try. What have we been missing!! From the time we left home to when we returned we did not have to lift a finger. We didn't have to worry about carrying luggage, it just appeared in our stateroom. We had always wanted to see the Northern Cities and they certainly did not disappoint. The clean fresh air and glorious weather all contributed to a wondereful holiday. Our ship the Crown Princess was all that we had hoped for. Friendly staff throughout, and the food was just great. No need to go hungry, 24 hour snacks. We chose the informal dining option, and were very satisfied with this arrangement. St Petersburg was breathtaking. The memories will always be with us. We have already booked our second cruise, once again with Princess but next time the Grand Princess Mediterrannean Medley.
