just back from carribean cruise on ventura , our first cruise and we loved it went from manchester / first choice plane 2-3-2 plenty legroom free drinks/food average/flights on time very smooth transfer bit of a wait at barbados cruise terminal but pleasantly surprised to be told we at been upgraded to a large balcony cabin at stern end (bonus) or what !especially with £250 on board spend also our brother and sister in law upgraded as well/ship is very big but soon got used to layout/we were on 2nd sitting in baytree ate there every evening/food was excellent never had a bad meal /connie and collins our waitors were excellent/ate rest of time usually waterside restaurent/excellent choice no complaints/entertainment was a bit mixed/tribute acts very average/two ecellent comedians in areana gary t thomson and fogwell flax realy funny guys /excursions mainly did our own thing /a lot cheaper but did catamaran on st maartan very good as was rum runner boat trip on grenada /ship very organised/and loved the sailaway parties especially the great british sailaway from grenada/ps for anyone that was on the same cruise i was the guy with the tee shirt with \"black country quotations \"on it it got me loads of conversations and i met some lovely people/ i would cruise again but probulary to the med next time /met the captain as my brother in law and wife re-confirmed their wedding vows <he was a very pleasant guy and took time to chat with us/all in a wonderful cruise so any cruise \"virgins\" dont worry about any negative comments \"get booking\"
