This was our first cruise with P&O and our fifth overall (all with different cruise lines).
We tried an inside cabin for the first time and was apprehensive. But it did not make any difference at all, apart from seeing what the weather was like in the morning, but all we did was switch on the TV and looked at the webcam.
We tried Freedom dining for the first time and it was great, just turned up and got a table for two, brilliant.
The crew from the Captain (who was superb and very hands on) down to Cabin stewards were superb being polite and helpful. Also if you had a meal that you didn't like it was not a problem to exchange it.
The drinks were a reasonable price as well.
Some of the ships photographers we thought did not take a decent standard of photograph and the fact that they were overpriced put lots of people off.
The same old story with most cruises was that the tours were extremely overpriced, so we like a small proportion of others did our own thing by taxi etc.
The entertainment was mostly good especially the ships company (Headliners), but a couple of the cabaret acts left a bit to be desired.
Having two theatres was a problem, because they were often to small to seat passengers to see a show. This meant the shows were scheduled over two days making it difficult to plan the evening making sure you saw both shows.
A good variety of TV programs were available (in the cabin) which is pretty uncommon as far as we have found.
