Oceana was every thing I hoped it would be.Took my Mum,who's in her eighties on her first cruise.
She loved the classical lines and the elegance,me I would have liked a bit more BLING.
Good food, but booked CLUB dinning six months before travelling, only to be told that there was no space for us.
We had to go Freedom dining which was not so convenient with Mum.Beds comfortable, staff wonderful.Well done P&O.
Quality of Food3
Preferred the Mediterranean type food,in the freedom dining restaurant.
Entertainment4
London show was my favourite, all singing shows were very professional
Shore Excursions3
Quimper.
Staff5
Roque, our room steward,he never hassled us.When my Mum was ill, he was very helpful.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities2
Lots of Quizzes ,activities seem to be aimed at the elderly.
Cabins5
Balcony,upgrade if you can,fantastic!

Glad to hear you and your Mum enjoyed your cruise. I would suggest if you are looking for a more glamourous and cosmopolitan try P&O's sister line Princess Cruises. They are from America so tend to be a bit more bling.

Club Dining always tends to be the most popular choice with P&O and to be really sure of it you need to book earlier than 6 months ahead. P&O is not the cruiseline with "Bling". You probably need to look at Carnival for that, possibly others but not sure. I'm sure others will advise.
