Pleased you enjoyed your cruise as much as we did. We have just returned! We were lucky enough to have a boiling hot sunny day for the Panama transit!! And i would highly recomend the night time cliff divers excursion! What a stunning view! :-) Angie.

We were on the same cruise it was fantastic weather was brilliant. We have only been on the Ventura so didnt know what to expect, Oceania surpassed our expectations. Our only gripe felt compelled to pre-book flight seats home as so many people were going to do it. Queued for two hours at onboard sales desk we got two seats together then when we got to the airport they had changed the plane and the seating was different. My wife was called up to the desk and told she had been moved and i was still in the same seat. So she was across the aisle and someone else between us, after a lot of moving about we ended up next to each other but the aisle was between us and couldnt really talk as people were back and forth all the time. What is the point in paying £25 I know they cant help the plane change but surely if youve paid for two seats together this is what you should get and they could have put us somewhere else. So if anyone else is thinking of doing this just be aware if your plane is changed there is still no guarentee you you will be sat together. Bad end to a brilliant holiday.

It was bound to happen – what with the meteoric progress of Artificial Intelligence and Software Technology. That eventually the futuristic innovations will become the ‘norm’ on cruise ships.Bionic Bar – Already a big hit with passengers! But there’s more! Much more in store!I read an article recently about the onset of Facial Recognition, Virtual Excursions and Fake Views, which a few years ago would have been dismissed as fantasy. However Fake views are a...

I Did It!

By Alison Ranaldi

Alison Ranaldi's blog

On the 4th February this year, I was one of 20,500 runners taking part in the Cancer Research UK London 10k Winter Run. I worked in the city for quite a few years and certainly had a different view running along streets closed to traffic past famous landmarks like St Paul’s Cathedral.I was a real mix of nervous and excited as I got up in what seemed the middle of the night to get the coach to London. Nervous as this was my first real race and whilst my main aim was just completing the c...

What do you know about Sarande...

By Hannah Wilson

Hannah Wilson's blog

Holland America, P&O and MSC are just some of the cruise lines visiting the port of Sarande in Albania this summer season. I have to admit it’s a new one on me and I knew absolutely nothing about this port so I decided to do a bit of research which I am going to share with you, did you even know where it is? Me neither, and most people I mention it to don’t.So first things first, Sarande is in Albania, a coastal town on the Ionian Gulf, situated about 14 kilometres north of th...
