We have just returned from a Baltic cruise on board P&O Aurora embarkation at Southampton was both fast and well organised and the staff were very helpful.
We had an inside cabin on D deck which was adequate, the food was first class and couldnt be faulted the choice was varied and cooked to perfection.
We went on 4 shore excursions Copenhagen Stockholm Tallin and St.Petersburg all were very well organised but very expensive. We were very pleased with the locations and the scenery was spectacular sailing out of Stockholm.
Unfortunately the down side of the cruise was the entertainment which seemed only to cater for the older generation who liked ballroom dancing, the shows were very loud and we didnt think very good, and we didnt think the entertainment team were as good as on other P&O cruises we had been on.
Quality of Food5
WE HAD OUR BREAKFAST IN THE MEDINA, OUR LUNCH AT THE SIDEWALK CAFE, AND OUR EVENING MEAL IN THE ALEXANDRIA
Entertainment1
WE THOUGHT MOST OF THE SHOWS WERE VERY POOR THE HIGHLIGHT FOR US WAS THE PASSENGER PERFORMANCE WHO DID THE COMEDY ROUTINE ON THE LAST NIGHT.
Shore Excursions4
WE WENT ON FOUR SHORE EXCURSIONS AND TALLIN WAS OUR FAVOURITE ALTHOUGH COPENHAGEN STOCKHOLM AND ST.PETERSBURG WERE ALSO VERY GOOD.
Staff5
I THINK ALL THE WAITERS AND WAITRESS'S WERE EXCELLENT.
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities1
VERY POOR
Cabins4
SIZE AND FACILITIES IN OUR INSIDE CABIN WERE VERY GOOD

Anyone agree that this Lower standard of Entertainments onboard could be partly due to a certain lady Cruise director that normally resides on Artemis ?
