We boarded Aurora for a Caribbean cruise in April last year for a 60th Birthday celebration for myself. My brother and wife came with us and this was their first cruise. I have to say that we all had a wonderful time both on board and in the Caribbean itself. My brother and his wife had a great time and said that it was all that they had expected and more and looked forward to going again. Life on board Aurora was great. The food was excellent and with many choices of eating venue if you fancied a change from your normal dining. The crew were polite, helpful and made our cruise one to remember. The entertainment on board was very good indeed and there were some very good cabaret acts throughout the 21 night cruise. We had a Steel Band from Birmingham on board who welcomed everyone on the ship when we first boarded at Southampton. There were some great nights on the deck around one of the pools with either the Steel Band or one of the other resident groups/bands playing on the platform just above the pool. Our balcony cabin was both spacious and comfortable. We have travelled on all of the P&O ships over the last 15 years and like them all. We would recommend anyone who has not cruised before to just go for it and give it a try! We are now looking forward to our next cruise on Azura.
