just come back from the caribbean, a lovely holiday but the artemis is a let down, i can see why it is leaving the fleet, old, rusty and quite shabby, not very clean in cetain areas. one day a shore excursion to martinique proved interesting, dollars accepted according to reception staff, but we found you were ripped off if you did not pay with euros. martinique is french you see. we found that p & o have done away with there gala nights in the resturant, they also seem to have downgraded the menu, even though the food is still of a high standard. having cruised with p & o many times i was very disspointed this time. i wrote to p&o only to be told, what do you expect from an old ship. I would have expected the same quality as any of p&o ships regardless of age. it seems to me they are not spending time and money on the artemis due to them getting rid in 2011

I remember when we were in the Canaries last year in November, swear it was the Artemis parked next to our cruise ship Independence of the Seas, it did look very rusty and shabby, and I heard it was stuck there for a couple of days as it broke down... not good
