This was our first time in the Caribbean - it was absolutely magical - the water was aqua marine. We sailed from Barbados, visited Aruba, Bonaire, Jamaica (Montego Bay), St Martin, Martinique, Unable to land by tender to St Barts as the sea choppy, Cayo Levantade. Everything was superb. Well worth paying the extra for a balcony suite for a special occasion. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We went independently in Jamaica to visit Dunn River Falls with a registered local taxi - the driver stayed with us in the background whilst at the falls and then returned us to the ship giving us local information on the way. No problem at all.
We were concerned having heard some cautions about the island. We were not hassled excessively and always said no firmly and politely.

Jamaican rum is well worth purchasing.

Aruba with its colourful buses was great fun and again no need to necessarily bother with organised trips.

Will definately return.

We are stopping at Jamaica and was thinking of Dunns River falls, wasnt sure if it could be done indendently or not. How much was the taxi and how long did it take. Also Aruba is the dock in walking distance to the town?
