Best Cruise we have ever been on. Small ship, but loved her. Met some really lovely people. Our restaurant waiters, were fantastic, funny and couldn't do enough for you, and the wine waitress was superb. The Panama experience is something I will never ever forget. The food was excellent, couldn't fault it. The down side for us was too much ice in the cocktails in the main bar, always had to remember to ask them not to do it. Also the evening cabaret entertainment was not brilliant.

Cabaret shows not brilliant. Comedian was as old as his jokes and the singer was nothing special

The wine waiter, Marion, within a couple of days she was like one of the family but kept to the boundaries.

Were we on the same ship ! This was my first time on the Artemis and i was very disappointed , the ship i think is well past its "sell by date". It broke down and missed 2 ports of call because they couldnt repair the engine and I got covered in soot several times whilst out on deck. I have been on several P&O ship and sailed with many other cruise lines and this was by far the worst ship i have been on.

I totally agree with you. We did the 20th feb to the 7th march. This was our 5th cruise and our WORST!! Our 1st and LAST time with p&o!!! very disappointing.

We were on the 6th Feb to 20th Feb Cruise (Barbados to Acapulco) and had no problems apart from one missed port San Juan de Sur, Nicaragua due to high winds. I understand the problems you talk about happened on the next leg (Acapulco to Barbados).

I think this comment refers to the cruise 20th Feb to 6th March. (Acapulco to Barbados) The review is of the cruise 6th Feb to 20th Feb (Barbados to Acapulco) The engine failure did not occur on this cruise and the only missed port was San Juan de Sur, Nicaragua, as the tenders could not be operated bacause of high winds. I was on both !
