If you are thinking of going to Buenos Aires to Rio in December, think again! Practically every day was either overcast, cloudy, and/or raining. One day it rained the entire day. Our main complaint was not the weather but the places we visited. Only take this trip if you like small sea side towns with nothing to do but sit on a beach! We called this cruise a "reading holiday".

Only good things to say about the ship--the cabin was spacious, the food too good, and the service always with a smile.
Quality of Food4
There are 3 restaurants and we tried to eat at the 2 smaller ones as often as possible. One was Italian and the other a steak house. The menus in the two small restaurants never change; the Grand restaurant had a new menu every day, granted a lot of the selectiions were repeiitions. The food was very good.

Shore Excursions1
We only went on one excursion and that was to the gardens in Rio. The first part very interesting but then you take a hike in the jungle and it was a bit borning. The guide was awful! Unless you were standing next to him, you could not hear a word.
Staff5
We had a butler and he was very helpful. Really, everyone could not do enough to make your trip pleasant.

Onboard Activities1
Never used any of the activities. The only annoying thing was that in the afternoon outside they played music which had words to it. Popular songs. Impossible to read with that sort of music playing. We retreated to our balacony or to the library when it was raining.
Cabins5
Yes, most definately. We had a large balacony and the room was very roomy.

Surely you can give more detail on this cruise. What were the ports you visited that you did not like? How did you get to Rio? Were the flight arrangements ok?
